New year, same game. Let's see how our Falcons are doing in sports.

Basketball
The men squeaked by the Lambton Lions in overtime with a final score of 83-71.

The Falcons started off on top with a 17-10 lead into the second quarter.

A huge thanks to Jordan Fray for his two dunks and Dexton Freemantle's play, which forced Lambton to take a timeout.

The Lions managed to catch up and tied the game in the final quarter, when Lambton's Jason Marshell sunk in a three-pointer.

The men came out victorious, having taken control of the game early in overtime.

The team now sits in fourth place in the OCAA West Division standings.

The women also tasted victory after crushing the Lambton Lions 68-30.

Honourable mentions to Rachel Jaworowicz, who scored 14 points in the game, and Ashley Galloway withan impressive 13 rebounds.
