More than war in the Middle East

Iraq, and Afghanistan are being “Nuked” as you read this. Not with the conventional nuclear warheads that instantaneously annihilate entire cities with one shot, but with hundreds of millions of mini-nuke paper-cuts that will continue to torture these countries until they bleed to a slow radioactive death.

The British and US Military are attacking Iraqi and Afghan civilians with hundreds of millions of what The U.N. classifies as “illegal weapons of mass destruction.” Every single bullet that is fired out of those Mattel-made M-16 assault rifles is a weapon of mass destruction. The reason for this is what the bullets are made of; depleted uranium, that stays radioactive for 4.5 billion years.

These radioactive shells made from nuclear waste have caused leukemia and cancer rates to skyrocket and is causing thousands of Afghan and Iraqi babies to be born with fatal birth defects and severe mutations. The military leaders of NATO countries are not only showing a total lack of human decency for their enemy, they are showing a total lack of respect for the life of all people, including their own soldiers.

An estimated 320 tons of depleted uranium was used in the first gulf war, this excessive amount of nuclear weapons usage has resulted in 200, 000 American Veterans becoming contaminated with uranium, many have sued the Department of Defense, more have died of their related illnesses.

Since the first gulf war, the U.S. military alone has released the equivalent of 400,000 Nagasaki bombs worth of radioactive pollution into the world's atmosphere. Most of which has been released in Iraq, followed by Yugoslavia and Afghanistan. These countries have been “nuked” far worse than Japan was.

According to radiation specialists, the current levels of radiation inside Afghanistan and Iraq make these countries uninhabitable for human beings.

While Canada stopped using depleted uranium two years ago, our government is far from being innocent in this betrayal of humanity. Canada has a history of quiet co-operation and war profiteering. Canada supplied the United States with all the uranium that went into the bombs that annihilated the hundreds of thousands of civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Even after seeing what the U.S. is willing to do with our Uranium, Canada still supplies them with this radioactive poison for their nuclear warheads. Most of the depleted uranium being used in Afghanistan and Iraq is Canadian-made too! Doesn't that make you proud to be Canadian?

Having to go fight an undefined enemy in Afghanistan for no reason is bad enough, but now our government expects Canadian troops to fight on a battlefield they've helped turn into a radioactive wasteland. All the while they talk about supporting our troops, for shame!
