Fanshawe community members had the opportunity to check out all the renovations made over the past few months in various FSU departments.

On Jan. 30, the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) hosted an open house for members of the Fanshawe community to check out the renovations that have recently taken place. The main FSU office is now located on the first floor of the Student Union Building next to Oasis (SC 1000). Additionally, both the publication and the entertainment departments have been relocated to the second floor of the Student Union Building (SC2001). Lastly, the hospitality department (SC 1012) has moved down the hall from the FSU main office.

“Now that the FSU main office is downstairs, we are closer to students and we are better able to service students,” FSU President, Morganna Sampson, said.

Morganna explained that the old FSU main office on the second floor of the Student Union Building opened in June 2004 and was due for a change.

At the open house, community members had the chance to grab a cupcake and spin a prize wheel while exploring the new office spaces.
