From the Editor
Welcome back Fanshawe students,
staff, faculty and community
members to a new volume and
season with the Interrobang. We
are officially working in the volume
51 era with the Orientation
issue being our second paper.
To kickoff the school year, my reporters spent a good amount of time coming up with some neat features that will help students transition nicely back to school, after a great summer break.
From student discounts and freebies to living on your own for the first time, or with roommates, this section is a must read for students, especially first years.
In the news section, you’ll find a few stories about the number of activities the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) is hosting during orientation and frosh, including the big country concert with headliners, The Reklaws.
Students should also be aware that the London Police Service (LPS) have reported a number of break-ins that happened in student- based neighbourhoods close to Fanshawe.
On a lighter note, Fanshawe finally opened up a Starbucks coffee shop, and there’s an update on the new downtown campus building.
Our lifestyles section has a variety of stories ranging from a Fanshawe grad who made a business with health drinks, to a book and album review. There’s also a section about student nightlife aimed at students of all ages and a preview of fall fashion.
We have a few interesting and thought provoking opinion pieces, and our sports section includes a number of stories, including a coaches corner section. Students can read more about each varsity team and see how the teams are preparing for their upcoming season. There is also a piece on the Fanshawe Ultimate eSports League (FUEL) which also starts up soon.
