Well, we've made it through to our fourth week and it's a great opportunity for all of us at Fanshawe to show some spirit and join the Fanshawe Falcons Fan Club where you can get some awesome gear such as t-shirts, noisemakers and pub tickets. If you like watching sports and want to show your true team spirit, join the club and support your teams! Check out the flyers posted throughout the college or visit the FSU for more info.

When it comes to student athletics, we have had such a great turnout at tryouts, and I encourage all of you to continue to support all of our varsity team members at their home games. I also challenge you to continue to try out and join upcoming teams. Its a great way to meet people, have fun, and keep active!

I would like to thank Christine Thomson, VP Internal, for her hard work on Shinerama and fundraising, as well as Mike Kokich, VP Entertainment, for all his hard work putting together this year's fantastic Week of Welcome and all the events that have passed, as well as the ones to follow. This is going to be such a fun year, filled with live bands, exciting shows and great events.

The women's soccer coach Eva Havaris, also deserves recognition for motivating her team to do such a great job fundraising, as well as leading her team to a win at the season opener game. She is a dedicated coach and we are looking forward to this season with her!

On a final note, a special thanks to Rob Hannivan, our Atlhetics Technician, for all his hard work and contributions towards the varsity teams.
