Choosing sides in the South

Are you a right-wing conservative or a left-wing liberal? Are you a Democrat or a Republican? Mid-term elections are here, and once again it's time to make your choice between brand A and brand B. It's a shame that both brands are essentially the same product, manufactured in the same facility by the same consortium of multi-national corporations, who essentially give you a false choice between two identical parties with different packaging.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans get their major sources of funding from the same corporations, who mostly deal in oil and arms. This is why both parties are forced to provide conflicts and wars in which arms can be bought and sold, as well as provide easy ways for the oil companies to continue the exploitation of energy resources in other countries.

Even though the Republicans have stolen the past two elections, the situation in the United States would be the same if the Democrats had won. Millions of poor Americans would continue to live in ghettos, without health insurance, or a decent education. The army would still be recruiting anybody that can say “Sir, Yes Sir” to fight in illegal wars of aggression. Permanent military bases would still be built in Iraq, the pipeline would still be built through Afghanistan, and the anti-Iran rhetoric would still be heard.

The only difference you would see if over 350,000 democrats weren't prevented from voting in Ohio, is that George Bush's cousin and fellow Skull and Bones member, John Kerry, would be the one illegally tapping Americans phones, shredding their bill of rights and striking down the constitution.

The republican-owned, “easy-to-hack” electronic voting machines that make recounts impossible, and make election fraud inevitable, are popping up everywhere. Republicans have used these machines to steal elections in the past.

In 2000 it was Florida, in 2004 it was Ohio, what state will be fixed in 2006? This new voting technology only speeds up the global elites agenda of dismantling any shred of democracy and freedom that still remains, while ushering in a global fascist dictatorship run by multi-national corporations.

Nobody is right wing and nobody is left wing. Those of us who believe we are have simply labeled ourselves foolishly. We are not conservatives or liberals, we are all people, and we generally have the same concerns, needs, and interests. Until we realize this fact, we will continue to be played as divided pawns in this game of false democracy, and be victims of the phony political left-right paradigm. Break out of this paradigm, do not label yourself, boycott the major political parties, vote independently, and give democracy a chance.
