The Winter Fair is coming to town

The Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) is presenting a Winter Fair on Nov. 26 for the Downtown Campus in London and Nov. 27 at Oxford (Main) Campus.
The fair is intended to be a stress-reliever for all the students who are currently working on big projects as the fall term for 2019 comes to a close. The FSU will be hosting the event as a celebration of Christmas and holiday time coming around the corner. There will be a bunch of festivities coming to Fanshawe during the two days.
There will be tons of free stuff available, including hot chocolate — a great winter essential for everyone, and trust me I don’t think I’ve ever met a person who doesn’t like hot chocolate.
Then you can also make some handmade ordainments, which could be some good presents for the family gift, or you can use it for your own Christmas tree.
In addition to all the fun, Santa Claus will be coming to town!
That’s right, Santa will be there to take pictures at both campuses. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Santa will be there to take pictures with you all.
“This time of the year, our students are really worried, and so we want everyone to get together and have fun,” said Kevin Masterson, the FSU’s events and activities manager.
At this time of the year, I agree. As a student here at Fanshawe College, I’m completely stressed in all of my assignments I still have to do by the end of the term. We all know you have been working really hard and now all of the sudden, academics are priority number one from here on out until exam time. The Winter Fair will give the students the chance to come on down, get some hot chocolate, play some winter festival games, make an ornament and spread your holiday cheer with Santa!
The best part is everything will be free. No admission fee; no hot chocolate fee, and no fee for Santa.
