Sea-doer resuced after stalling on lake

Wesley Trinkinton, 25, has finally been rescued. The man had gone for a ride on a water scooter on Lake Erie, but it stalled. He was found two days later, just 500 yards off the Port Dover shore. “He was just sitting there, waiting on us to get to him,” a Coast Guard spokesman said.

It was unclear why Trinkinton did not swim to shore, nor why he spent two days in the water without drinking any — Lake Michigan is a freshwater lake.
