Clarification
The Fanshawe Student Union (F.S.U.) wishes to apologize to DM Repairs & Towing Ltd. o/a Sturdy's Services and to retract the contents of an article published in its weekly newspaper, Interrobang, on April 9th, 2007 Volume 39 Issue 24 in the satire section bearing the heading Fanshawe Distorter and bearing the headline "Record number of cars getting hitched up on campus in diabolical kickback plot" that in any way was understood to refer to Sturdy's Services or to reflect adversely on its reputation.
In particular F.S.U. regrets the reference in the article to "Turdy's Towing" and to any inference that may have been drawn associating that fictional company with Sturdy's Services and any inference suggesting that Sturdy's Services was involved in any unethical or illegal activity. The F.S.U. had, and has, no such evidence or belief and any such references or allegations were fictional and published solely for the purpose of satire. The Fanshawe Student Union and Interrobang sincerely regret any embarrassment that may have been caused to Sturdy's Services.
