Letter to the editor...

Opportunity for aspiring authors of the next great Canadian novel

London Public Library is hosting a Writer in Residence, October 22-26, 2007, when there will be an opportunity for aspiring authors to meet with an award winning author, Edeet Ravel, for consultation on his or her work.

We would like the Fanshawe community to be aware of the call for submissions, since these samples of work will be used as the basis for booking appointments with Edeet and must be received by September 20.

Submissions must be prose fiction, maximum 20 pages and include name, address and phone number.

Mail submissions to M. Richardson, 251 Dundas St., London, ON N6A 6H9, or drop them off at the Central branch, 2nd floor information desk, Attn: Writer in Residence.

We are looking forward to hearing from new voices writing Canadian fiction.

Sheila Lui, Literature Librarian London Public Library.
