Mason finishes second in cross-country race

Fanshawe runner John Mason finished second place out of 83 runners at the Fleming-Peterborough Cross-Country Invitational held on October 1st. Mason helped Fanshawe finish second overall in the men's team competition behind 1st place Fleming College.

Men's soccer continue to battle with inconsistency
The Falcons dropped a 4-2 contest to their rival, Humber College on October 1st, but rebounded with a 6-0 victory over Cambrian College the next day. Fanshawe is currently tied with Conestoga for fifth place in the OCAA West division with a 2-3 record. Greg Remijm continues to be a bright spot for the Falcons with six goals this season, three of which came against Cambrian.

Golf team heads to OCAA tournament

Fanshawe's golf team took part in the OCAA tournament on October 3-5. After the first day of competition Matt Tindale sits in 9th place in the men's individual competition after firing a score of 75. FAN590 will air weekly college athletics radio show
On Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:30 a.m., radio show host David Grossman will talk about college athletics and help promote varsity sports at the Toronto based FAN590 radio network. “Everyone at the OCAA is really excited about the opportunity to partner with the FAN590. The College Radio Show is going to be a great vehicle for the OCAA to raise the awareness of college athletics in Ontario and showcase some of the many outstanding student-athletes who combine academics with athletic excellence at the post secondary level,” said OCAA Executive Director Blair Webster.
