Making sense of midterm madness

As you all know, midterm testing is coming up. Some of us don't think anything of it, and some of us are freaking out. To those of you who are keeping your cool, I give you props. To those of you who can't keep your head on your shoulders, calm down. Thousands of students just like you and I have gone through midterms as well. There are a few key differences between scoring big on that important test or flunking it with flying colours.

First of all, whatever anyone tells you, cramming all the information you can into your brain before the test begins is not such a smart idea. Instead, start looking over your notes a few weeks early so the information sticks.

Another option is to find yourself a study buddy, and if you find one of the opposite sex, you might even be able to make it a date.

Finally, chew some gum while you study and while you write the test. If you chew the same flavour on both occasions, it will bring back information from the last time you chewed that gum.

So when your midterm paper hits the desk, you will now be able to write it with confidence and get that 85 per cent you were shooting for.

Good luck on all your tests and remember these three things to help you score big.
