London's fashion event of the year

Calling all models, photographers, make-up and hair artists, and designers, the second annual London Fashion Exchange (LFE) party has arrived.

The LFE is hosting its second annual party on Sunday, November 4 at Up on Carling! The London Fashion Exchange is an online business dedicated to helping models, photographers, etc. to network with each other in London and cities all across Ontario, started by Kristy Barash and David Raposo.

“The London Fashion Exchange provides an avenue for local talent to be able to meet and work with one another to help promote themselves,” said Barash of the fashion-networking site. “The website now has over 500 members.”

There are three different membership packages: bronze, silver, and gold. Each has a different amount of pictures you can upload in order to promote yourself on your profile, and with the first membership package it is free to join. LFE is a great way to get yourself out there and start working with others to get ahead.

The LFE party will feature a fashion show displaying the local talent of six Fanshawe students and booths for people promoting their work. Tickets for students are $10 and for general admission they are $15, all of which can be purchased on www.londonfashionexchange.com.

The LFE party is an awesome way to meet other people like you in the business, but there is also the fact that you're helping a great cause, since 20 per cent of the proceeds from ticket sales of the party go towards the Children's Health Foundation. Dress your best and come out and party with the beautiful people and the London Fashion Exchange.
