It's been one hell of an entertaining year
Phew! Another year come and gone... almost. This is the time when everyone has had enough of school and would rather sit at home watching movies, sleeping in ‘til noon, and munching out on gross food. Trust me, I know what that's all about.
For a lot of you, this is your last year and you're getting ready to go join the work force, which is both very exciting, and extremely stressful. I also know what that's all about. This is my last year of many within the walls of Fanshawe College, and I'm preparing to go struggle in the real world. I remember my first day here as if it was only three years ago.
Choosing where you work is not the easiest decision. It's the basis of your new career and who the hell knows that they are going to do when they are 21? No one. That's why it's very important during the time that you are here to find out what makes you really happy then to go do it. Unless it's binge drinking and being promiscuous, there's not a lot of money there.
The decisions you make now affect everything that happens to you later. Where you live, who you work for, what you're doing and whom you meet along the way. That's a crap load of stress if you ask me. These are all things that each of us has to worry about as we walk out these doors for the last time.
Which brings me to where I am. I have had a blast as your VP of Entertainment this year. It was entertaining for me, so I hope it was for you as well, otherwise I didn't really do my job.
I would also like to congratulate Jeff Burling on getting the new VP of Entertainment position. He is a good man, and I hope your all ready for him to rock your minds.
