F.A.T.S. Knows!

Have you ever walked into the Office of the Registrar and found there was a line-up? Or maybe you've tried to reach us by phone when fee payments are due or Continuing Education registration has begun. Here are some other ways to get your business done:

First of all, are we the people you want to see?

F.A.T.SIf you have a question about academic matters, go to your Divisional Office first because many academic decisions are made by them. For example, if you looked on WebAdvisor and your schedule doesn't list one of your courses, talk to your Division. If you don't get it straightened out quickly, you could find you have an F in a course you never saw.

If you have a question about a library fine, talk to the Library staff. They'll be able to clear your record.

If you want to know about the student health plan, talk to Fanshawe Student Union, on the second floor of the Student Centre. They administer the plan and can answer all your questions.

If you've lost your bus pass, you get that from the Student Union, too. You'll need your student ID card, which you get from us. Check with our office first, in case it's been turned in.

If you want to know about parking for next term, or your locker, go to D1018.

And have you checked WebAdvisor? It can give you information about your marks, your fee balance, and your schedule. You can pay your fees, register on-line for Continuing Education courses, or print an unofficial transcript. And it's available 24/7.

You can fax information to us, at 519.452.4420, or you can mail us a letter. We're in Room E1012.

If you do need to visit us, please take a ticket from the dispenser at the door. You only need one ticket! Your number will show on the display board above the counter. Don't worry about the A, B, C business — it's a way to help us track who comes to see us. We take the tickets in order.

Important Dates

When is the last date I can withdraw without getting an F?

For many courses, it's November 15. But not always! Check your Student Verification Form for the exact date.

And remember! This withdrawal deadline has nothing to do with fees. You are responsible to pay your full fees for the whole term, even if you withdraw from all your courses by this date.

Office of the Registrar… We're working for you.
