Worst sports injury?
I've had a lot recently. I just had a concussion. It happened January 16 against Mohawk.

Favourite memory?
There's a lot to choose from, but my favourite would have to be playing in the first tournament. I made the All-Star Team.

How long have you been playing?
Since grade seven. I've been playing club and competitive since grade 10. The Competitiveness got me into it. It's a drive, you want to win.

Are there team outings?
We do stuff all the time. We get together for events; we just got together for the Super Bowl. We also go out to eat; it builds the teams' bond.

How do you handle losses?
I actually get in trouble a lot for this, but I never lose my smile. Deep down I'm angry.

Do you have any rituals before a game?
I don't personally. Good sleep, and a healthy meal. We also all do a cheer before a game by jumping around and yelling as loud as we can.

Hardest team to beat?
Humber. They are undefeated this season.

Who's your number one fan?
Heather Murray...just kidding! It's a tie between my boyfriend and my dad.

Any special talents?
Not really. Getting hurt a lot.

Favourite sports team?
I'm a big fan of Colorado Avalanche. And I've been wanting to live there.

Why Fanshawe?
They had my program and they had a Volleyball team. Also, my boyfriend had a house for me to live in.

Future goals/plans?
I plan on graduating and becoming an RPN, and open my own cancer hospice. I want to play Volleyball as long as I can.

Do you have a special diet?
I eat healthy. I love crunchy peanut butter and honey on toast. We always have to eat pasta before a game, my favourite is lasagna.

Worst thing about volleyball?
Losing.

One thing you would change about yourself?
I would be more organized in school.

Motivation?
My mom and family. The typical ones, my boyfriend, friends, and teammates.

What sets this team apart from others?
I think that we are a very young team, compared to the rest, but we still have the drive and the want to win to compete against teams with more experience.

Whats the amount of time dedicated to volleyball?
Its kind of like a part time job. We practice four times a week, weight train three times a week, and sometimes play seven days a week.
