On the way over to talk to a girl, I twisted my ankle.

e. Sean Coleshill: Cockroach — deceivingly quick and is often unappreciated.

Adrian from Fitness 101.

7. Worst fashion moment?
My grey tux from grade 8 graduation (what was I thinking?)

Kevin McKay   VP Internal: Kevin McKay
1. What made you want to be part of the FSU this year?
The people and the environment of the FSU.

2. What’s your favourite first year Fanshawe memory?
When I rescued a friend from a bad situation involving wrong decisions and some sneaking around. I’ll leave that up to your imagination.

3. If you could be any ice cream flavour — which one and why?
Plastic and tinfoil, that way I would live the longest because no one would eat me.

4. Recount an embarrassing moment that involved the opposite sex (keep it as clean as you can, people).
There have been a number of moments in my life where the opposite sex has either laughed at, or pitied me. First day of high school, first time I drank, etc. But none of them tops the time I almost went home with a 36-year-old mother, in my 17th year of life.

5. Which animal are you and why? Assign an animal for each board member and a sentence explaining why.
a. Jabari Cooper: Fox. Cunning and smooth, quiet and collected with his thoughts, he waits for the right time to strike with his prey.

b. Joe Scalia: The beaver. Ambitious and determined to complete difficult but essential tasks and intelligent at gathering the right resources

c. Kevin Mckay: The Tasmanian Devil. Everywhere — in both thoughts and physical locations, attention is never focused on a single point.

d. Veronica Barahona: The mantis — calm and observant, quick to attack at the right choice, able to friendly blend into her environment.

e. Sean Coleshill: The ostrich — fast on his feet, agile and fit. He uses his speed to his advantage and quickly resolves his issues.

f. Andrew Payne: The owl. Wise beyond his years and sharp with his vision to his target, not afraid to fly, but not too eager to soar.

6. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Me, because no one else would have the ability and mental discipline needed to deal with 100% Kevin Mckay.

7. Worst fashion moment?
Sleeveless shirt, short shorts, headband, knee socks and sweat wrist bands, you do the math.

8. O-Week approaches — what are you excited for?
Meeting new people and discovering new experiences. I consider myself an explorer of life and this coming year is just another journey.

Andrew Payne   VP Entertainment: Andrew Payne
1. What made you want to be a part of the FSU his year?
Finally getting my own business card.

2. What’s your favourite first year Fanshawe memory?
Drunken open-mic nights at the Out Back Shack.

3. If you could be any ice cream flavour — which one and why?
Key Lime — reminds me of the beach in the Bahamas.

4. Recount an embarrassing moment that involved the opposite sex (keep it as clean as you can, people)
Accidentally stepped on her toes and farted during a dance! I had to sing her a few songs before she’d kiss me.

5. Which animal are you and why? Assign an animal for each board member and a sentence explaining why.
a. Jabari Cooper: The Sleeping Tiger — tread carefully and watch your step. He knows something you don’t.

b. Joe Scalia: The Happy Llama — similar to the Dalai Lama in that he’s resourceful, wise and calming. He just kind of looks like a llama.

c. Kevin Mckay: A Temperamental Black Jaguar. Kevin needs to eat, sleep, mock, trick, chase and kill his prey. But only after he shows it to all his friends.

d. Veronica Barahona: The Tranquil Stingray. You have a great relationship so just keep up your end of the bargain. Step on her and she’ll sting you — and won’t feel bad.

e. Sean Coleshill: The Laidback Cheetah. Wanna race? You’ll lose. Smart remark? He’s got a better one. Usually found in the front of the pack laughing “Can’t catch me, muthaf*ckaaaaaah!”

f. Andrew Payne: The Typical Seagull. I just wanna hang out at the beach.

6. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
If we’re serious: John Robinson
If we’re laughing: Jon Bon Jovi

7. Worst fashion moment?
I’m an MIA student. We’re virtually allergic to fashion. But we sound great!

8. O-Week approaches — what are you excited for?
New faces, late nights, early mornings, concluded by sleeping in on well-deserved weekends.

Sean Coleshill   VP Athletics: Sean Coleshill

2. What’s your favourite first year Fanshawe memory?

I wouldn’t be ice cream, I would be an ice cream machine because it is a gift that keeps on giving.

4. Recount an embarrassing moment that involved the opposite sex (keep it as clean as you can, people)
Next.

Samuel Jackson, because he’s in every movie.

7. Worst fashion moment?
The filming of Veronica Barahona’s exec video.

8. O-Week approaches — what are you excited for?
Fresh meat.

Veronica Barahona   VP External & Academic Affairs: Veronica Barahona
1. What made you want to be part of the FSU this year?
Student advocacy is such a huge part of this organization. Scratch that — it’s what the FSU is all about. I want to spread awareness like spreading love. Students should know what’s available to them and what can be done to improve their college education. I joined to make a small but significant difference.

2. What's your favourite first year Fanshawe memory?
Too many to even try to come up with a favourite. I could tell you a story or two, but really the best part of first year was meeting all the amazing people who still remain in my life. They know who they are!

3. If you could be any ice cream flavour — which one and why?
OK, not only do I love Rocky Road enough to eat it, I would totally want to be it! It’s delicious, done deal.

4. Recount an embarrassing moment that involved the opposite sex (keep it as clean as you can, people).
Hah! I’m the QUEEN of embarrassing stories, period. Let’s just say it happens way too often.

5. Which animal are you and why? Assign an animal for each board member and a sentence explaining why.
a. Jabari Cooper: Lion. Strong leader of the pack. Will claw the hell out of you if you mess with his people.

b. Joe Scalia: Labrador. Loyal, loving and a (wo)man’s best friend.

c. Kevin Mckay: Chipmunk. Adorable, nut loving and curious.

d. Veronica Barahona: Panda. I hate my brother right now. All I can think of is a panda. I remind him of one, especially my “paws.”

e. Sean Coleshill: Falcon. Peregrine to be exact. Fastest bird, Coleshill if he were a bird.

f. Andrew Payne: Gorilla. One of the most articulate animals on the face of the Earth. Andrew is so smart and admirable like a gorilla.

6. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Someone Latino. I’m sure Hollywood would just make anyone look like me.

7. Worst fashion moment?
Anything I wore circa ’98-04. Bad. Very Bad.

8. O-Week approaches — what are you excited for?
K’NAAN! I’ve checked out his stuff, pumped to see it live. Oh, and not sleeping — that’ll be awesome.

Joe Scalia   VP Finance: Joe Scalia
1. What made you want to be part of the FSU this year?
Same reason I’ve been a part of FSU the past two years — this organization is run by students, and exists for the sole purpose of serving students. Every dollar made is invested back into student life. It’s a wonderful place to be!

2. What’s your favourite first year Fanshawe memory?
In TV-Broadcasting, our production development class project was to create and shoot a pilot episode for an original TV series. Coming together to laugh (and sometimes cringe) at everyone’s projects was a memorable time.

3. If you could be any ice cream flavour — which one and why?
Heavenly Hash — it’s slightly chunky but remarkably smooth.

4. Recount an embarrassing moment that involved the opposite sex (keep it as clean as you can, people)
This one time I choked on a glass of water and I spat it up, very accidentally in my girlfriend’s face. She should have dumped me then but she didn’t. That was four years ago, been together ever since!

5. Which animal are you and why? Assign an animal for each board member and a sentence explaining why.

a. Jabari Cooper: Jabari is a strong leader like a lion. But he’s got the style and precision of a tiger. This makes Jabari a Liger.

b. Myself: Snorlax I never get enough sleep (does anybody anymore?) So when I get a day to relax, I’m out like a light. Snorlax.

c. Kevin Mckay: Mckay is definitely a squirrel but I can’t decide if that’s because of his attention span or his constant yearning for nuts.

d. Veronica Barahona: Vero’s got these zebra shoes and that it makes it hard for me to compare her to anything else.

e. Sean Coleshill: Not just a roadrunner, THE roadrunner. This guy can run unfathomable distances and to him it’s like a walk in the park.

f. Andrew Payne: Payne is our most senior member of the board and by that I mean he is old. At 87 years of age he is still taking to the seas on his boat almost every weekend and loving it. Stay cool, young sea turtle.

6. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
If it were true to life, it would have to be somebody who very obviously can’t act: Kevin Mckay.

7. Worst fashion moment?
Who else remembers frosted blond tips? Damn the Backstreet Boys!

8. O-Week approaches — what are you excited for?
K’NAAN!
