Fanshawe aids Hurricane Katrina victims

When Hurricane Katrina flooded New Orleans, colleges and universities in the vicinity suffered damage that ranged from light at Tulane and Loyola University to devastating at Dillard University.  Dillard was flooded under up to eight feet of water. As part of our fundraising campaign with ACCC, Fanshawe College, in conjunction with the Student Union wanted to raise funds to assist the educational institutions affected by the hurricane. The result of a huge effort on the part of Student Union in partnership with the College succeeded in raising $2000!

Fanshawe President and FSU President Melissa Smart proudly display the $2000 cheque along with college representatives.
