Here's what's happening in La-la land.

- ABC announced that Bristol Palin, eldest daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is scheduled to guest star on an upcoming episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Bristol who is known for her own teenage pregnancy says, “I am thrilled to be on this show...that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.” Has anyone even been watching this show? Anyways, if Sarah's daughter is going to expand her 15 minutes of fame, then her baby daddy Levi Johnson should be allowed to accept his Playgirl offer. Just saying.

- Tiger Woods finally had his televised press conference where he publicly apologized stating, “I want to say to each of you simply and directly: I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, selfish behaviour.” His wife Elin was not in the audience but his mother was sitting with crossed arms and a look of disappointment. During the 15-minute speech, he asked the media to leave his family alone. They do not deserve to be hounded because of his actions. Woods also explained that he received in-patient therapy beginning in late December to help him deal with the issues he is facing. Since when can the term sex-addiction be used to replace the term selfishness? Many viewers are at odds with the sincerity of his performance, I mean, apology.

- Olympian Michael Phelps will be pleased that his controversy has been replaced by snowboarder Scotty Lago. Lago, 22, who won the bronze medal in the men's halfpipe snowboarding event and voluntarily left the Winter Olympics after risqué photos of him surfaced. Hanging his new hardware around his groin area, a photo was taken of a woman kissing the medal.

A second shot shows the woman biting the medal, while Lago held it up to his Team USA T-shirt. President and CEO Bill Marolt stated “Scotty realizes his conduct was inappropriate. He has formally apologized and also made a decision to leave Vancouver today.”

- Kourtney Kardashian is standing firm that her relationship with boyfriend Scott Disick is not falling apart. The couple who have a nine-week-old son Mason, appeared very much a loving couple as they entered Las Vegas's Jet Nightclub according to spectators. Disick is rumoured to have been unfaithful, but this accusation is not new as Kourtney's mom was skeptical in a past season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Yet Kourtney is laughing off the whispers saying, “You can't take it too seriously.” It's nice that she trusts her man, but if rumours keep swirling, I think she shouldn't.
