Former Fanshawe Falcon soccer star and male athlete of the year in 2008-09, Matt Szydlowski, continues his courageous fight against leukemia. Despite his ongoing fight, Szydlowski was able to attend an exhibition soccer game in his honour featuring the WOSL all-stars versus the Fanshawe Falcon all-stars in “Matt's Miracle: A Champions Game” held at TD Waterhouse Stadium at Western. A good crowd turned out to show their support.
