Lost Soul Stroll promises to creep

Ever heard of the Talbot Tot who was buried in downtown London?

Well, you will when you sign up for this year's Lost Soul Stroll, a six-year London Halloween tradition.

Presented by London Fringe for the past three years, the 90-minute walking tour of downtown gives a spooky inside look into the historical ghosts and characters of the city as they tell their true stories.

This year, director John Gerry is putting a new spin on things, said producer Alison Challis. The script has been re-written and new characters have been introduced along with old favourites. "Lots has changed since last year," she said. So those who are Lost Soul Stroll regulars will be pleasantly surprised.

The Stroll is less jumpy haunted house and more bone-chilling creepy and is not recommended for children under 12.

The show starts promptly at 8 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral. It runs in all weather, so it's important to dress accordingly.

Tickets are $20 and should be reserved as soon as possible because the shows usually sell out fast, particularly getting closer to Halloween. You can order them by calling the Fringe at 519-434-0606 or going online to http://LostSoulStroll.com. They sell up to 60 tickets per night to get an idea of how much space they allow for.

The show runs October 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30.

As for that Talbot Tot? Well, come out and learn the story straight from the baby's mouth. It's definitely one of the more creepier tales, said Challis.
