Jessica Allossery is in her third year of contemporary media advanced filmmaking. She said of herself, "I am a musician, learned piano when I was young and taught myself guitar two years ago. I am currently releasing my first album. I am a world traveler and independent filmmaker. I love the earth and peace and hope to one day make it a better place for everyone."

1. Why are you here?
To learn how to show everyone the world through the lens of a camera.

2. What was your life-changing moment?
Living in Brazil.

3. What music are you currently listening to?
Mumford & Sons, Florence and the Machine, Jack Johnson, Bon Iver and Ben Harper.

4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
When you're out of white sugar, use brown!

5. Who is your role model?
Brett Dennen.

6. Where in the world have you traveled?
Lived in Brazil for one year, lived in South Africa for four months and travelled to Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mozambique, Malawi and Tanzania.

7. What was your first job?
Selling sweet corn on the side of the road at our vegetable stand.

8. What would your last meal be?
Roasted chicken and potatoes, green beans, cranberries and fresh baked buns.

9. What makes you uneasy?
Heights.

10. What is your passion?
Helping people through music and art.
