Paul Paschink is in his first year of culinary management. He said, "Well, this is my second time through Fanshawe. Audio/Visual Tech 1990. After 20 years, it's interesting to see what has changed and funny to see what hasn't. I figure this is my last chance at a career change so I'd better find something that makes me happy. The money won't do it if you hate your job!"

1. Why are you here?
Looking for a new career.

2. What was your life-changing moment?
When my kids were born. Working on a Habitat for Humanity build in El Salvador was a close second though.

3. What music are you currently listening to?
R.L. Burnside, The Black Keys, Matt Andersen, Saor Patrol.

4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Find something you love to do and you won't work a day in your life.

5. Who is your role model?
Has to be my dad. He's an amazing guy and my friend, too.

6. Where in the world have you traveled?
Coast to coast across Canada, El Salvador, Costa Rica. I really want to see Norway and Australia.

7. What was your first job?
Delivering the London Free Press.

8. What would your last meal be?
Keep it simple. Some "real" BBQ'd ribs or nice, thick steak (rare) with some mushrooms, onions and baked potato. Don't forget the beer ... a pitcher or two ought to do it!

9. What makes you uneasy?
Returning to college in my 40's. I feel so damn old.

10. What is your passion?
Currently, it's cooking ... and eating ... and maybe a little drinking.
