College Knowledge: Study in the land of cherry blossoms, sushi and pagodas

Konnichiwa!

The International Office at Fanshawe wants to send you to Japan for our annual Student Exchange Program. Take advantage of your Fanshawe College education and enhance your global perspective with a cultural exchange.

For the sixth time, through the Fanshawe College student exchange program, we are able to send two Fanshawe students to Ibaraki Christian University. Ibaraki is located in the north eastern part of the Kanto Plains and is within 120 km of Tokyo on the Pacific coast.

This unique cultural exchange promotes the understanding and deepening of friendship between countries and the institutions and students of Fanshawe College and Ibaraki Christian University (www.icc.ac.jp).

The trip will take place May 7 to June 7, approximately. We pay the airfare and health insurance, you pay for accommodations and personal spending. You may also qualify for the Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarship to help with the extra costs.

Visit myFanshawe for more details and a copy of the application form. You will need to apply before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18.

If you still have questions about this opportunity, you can contact Kim Rowe, international student advisor, at krowe@fanshawec.ca or by phone at 519-452-4430, ext. 4030.
