Exec Corner: Where is Christine on Monday nights?

I love writing in Exec Corner. I try my best to use this time to let you get to know me, as you may recall from my last few articles on Shinerama and my Halloween activities. This time, I have decided to let you into my television world. The world….of 24.

You know, this season of 24 is going to be the best ever! It was like when Harry Potter came out. No one really knew anything about it, but whenever you see a small article, you pretend you don't want to read it and see the spoilers, but you always read the article six times over! In the privacy of your own home, of course. This season brings back Jack Bauer from, pretty much, the dead. He has been using the alias Frank Flynn for the past 18 months, and now that he has been named a suspect in a terrorist plot against President Palmer, he is out of hiding and back to save the world.

And is it just me, or did Jack get sexier when he was presumed dead?!?!

I think what I like best about 24 is that though Elisha Cuthbert lived through the car explosion, and Jack has been stabbed but still managed to pretend like he couldn't feel it, this show will kill off any main character no matter the circumstances. And I appreciate that, as an avid viewer, since when the main characters don't make it. (Read: Teri Bauer, Nina Myers, Michelle Almaida, and more) it makes the show much more believable. It gives it that, “No way. How can (insert name here) die?”

Hopefully everyone is enjoying this season of 24, which premiered on Sunday, January 15th (even though its usually on Mondays). Of course, I taped it, so if you need a copy, you know where I work.

And remember, even though Jack seems to be able to live through anything and is a one-man wrecking team, everyone else on the show is still human.
