Londonlicious tempts the palate

Running for three years now, Londonlicious is an event that gives the appetite something new and delicious. It runs from now until February 5.

"(This) festival is geared toward promoting the smaller independent restaurants, with each their own unique flavours and style," according to the Londonlicious website.

Randy Feltis, Director of Londonlicious, added that this is a great way to familiarize customers with fare that is exposing smaller, independent restaurants and to draw attention to the downtown area.

This tasty event offers a threecourse meal at an affordable price for a student-friendly budget at local eateries, such as Waldo's on King, Crave, Fellini Koolini's and many more. Menus will include an appetizer, entrée and dessert.

"We started in Barrie on over three years ago," explained Feltis. "The first festival had 16 restaurants and the price point was $20 per person. By the third festival, we had 35 restaurants in Barrie and decided to try another city."

The first Londonlicious had 16 restaurants at $25 per person. This year's event will see 31 restaurants participate. Prices will range from $15 to $30 per person, depending on the restaurant.
