An August 28 celebration honouring Mike Lindsay (above, centre), the retiring Athletics department manager, was held in the Oasis. Current and former Fanshawe staff, athletes and students celebrated Lindsay's 41-year career at the College.


Lindsay (above, left) received a gift from the Athletics department, which long-time colleague Ernie Durocher said Lindsay had been eyeing for a long time.


Lindsay said he plans to spend time with his family during his retirement, as well as make plenty of time for leisure activities like fishing, but no matter what he does or where he goes, Lindsay will always be a Fanshawe Falcon.
