Need a break? Meditate

Relax, de-stress, focus. This year, Fanshawe's Counselling and Accessibility Services is offering free meditation classes for students. It's a chance to catch your breath and find relaxation amidst your new classes and course load. The classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 4:20 p.m. starting January 15 in room F2010.

Take advice from the Dalai Lama: "The basic sources of happiness are a good heart, compassion, and love. If we have these mental attitudes, even if we are surrounded by hostility, we feel little disturbances. On the other hand, if we lack compassion and our mental state is filled with anger or hatred, we will not have peace."
