Fanshawe Fashionista: Heat up your wardrobe this spring with cool and stylish yoga gear
There is one little hot spot right here in downtown London that is sure to keep you in shape and looking your best at the same time. The Moksha Yoga studio on the corner of Richmond and Mill is always loaded with the latest athletica and comfy/casual wear. It is the only retailer in London to carry the ever-so-popular Lululemon Athletica gear, recognized by its omega symbol, and is always stocked with a great selection of colours and styles. Also available at Moksha Yoga, and already hitting the ever so fashionable and trendy streets of London, are similar lines such as Tonic (which can also be found at Holt Renfrew) and a new line called Breathe that is very popular in the west, and is beginning to hit the gyms in Ontario.
If you've never been to a Moksha Yoga hot yoga class before, prepare yourself to sweat — really sweat. Because of the high temperatures in a hot yoga class (the room usually sits at a balmy 110 degrees F) it's important that the clothing you wear while participating in one of the classes is comfy and breathable. And if you go with one of the lines sold in Moksha Yoga, not only will you find the garments more than perfect for yoga classes or whatever form of exercise you enjoy most, but you'll also find yourself so addicted to the breathable fabric and sleek styles that you'll soon be sporting your workout gear as everyday wear.
Even when working out, accessorizing is important. Oversized Lululemon bags are not only fashionable, but also great for carrying everything you'd need to when hitting the weights or fitting in a step class. There is even a lower storage compartment that is separated from the rest of the bag to store shoes or wet towels, and ensures everything else in the bag stays clean and fresh. The bags come in wide range of colours, and are great for traveling too. Headbands are also a great accessory and are very useful and practical to have for working out.
