Libby Versteegh has a passion for teaching small humans.

Libby Versteegh is in her first year of Early Childhood Education at Fanshawe. "I am a very outgoing, indecisive and friendly person," she said. "I like to believe that I am funny, but I tend to be the only person laughing at my jokes at times."

1. Why are you here?
To be the best teacher/role model that I could possibly be.

2. What was your life-changing moment?
My first day at my co-op placement in high school when I went into the kindergarten classroom. That's when I knew I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher.

3. What music are you currently listening to?
The song "Days Go By" by Keith Urban.

4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Breathe!

5. Who is your role model?
My aunt.

6. Where in the world have you travelled?
I used to live in Costa Rica and I have also been to Panama and Florida.

7. What was your first job?
McDonalds.

8. What would your last meal be?
Fettuccine Alfredo.

9. What makes you uneasy?
Small spaces and rotten food.

10. What is your passion?
Teaching.
