Dollar Palace offended by Jackson comment

A local Dollar Palace operator is seeing red after a patrons comment in a weekly paper compared his store unfavourably to Wal-Mart.

“I take great offense to what Ms. Jackson had to say,” said Dollar Palace proprietor Joe Zaibatsu. “Nobody equates shopping at Wal-Mart to Richmond Row shopping. Ms. Jackson's comments suggest that our place of business is no better than an outdoor flea market.”

According to Zaibatsu Dollar Palace caters to all types of clients and that the store carries high quality merchandise generally made in China, Taiwan and Singapore.

“When I think about shopping, putting on a skirt, doing my make-up and wearing pumps I'm going to Wal-Mart,” reaffirmed Jackson when contacted for an additional comment. “the Dollar Palace isn't the
