Latest PPV wrestling matches play out just as predicted

Alrighty! Another PPV has come and gone so let's look to see if I was close with my predictions!

Trish Stratus and Ashley vs. Victoria and Torrie Wilson
This was a short match with very little action. I knew this would be a small warm up match for Trish and to let Ashley get rid of her PPV jitters. Winners: Trish and Ashley.

The Hurricane and Rosey vs. Murdoch and Cade
I was bang on with this prediction, too! Murdoch and Cade won this match to try and push the tag division back into the spotlight. They even won the rematch on Raw the next night. Let's see who they're going to face next.

Big Show vs. Snitsky

The Big Show got his revenge on Snitsky in this match. Not only did he beat the poor bastard, but he also smacked him with the bell. Um…hooray? Zzzzzz

Edge vs. Matt Hardy in a steel cage.
Awesome! We got some excellent spots, some blood and a really cool ending where Matt Hardy planted a leg drop on Edge from the top of the cage. This was a great match and their coming ladder match in two weeks will be another great one! It's going to be sad to see one of them leave Raw, but I think Matt will be fine being underutilized on Smackdown.

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Masters
This match wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The match had some good back and forth spots and kept my interest. In the end, we saw HBK counter the Masterlock and get the win with sweet chin music just like I knew he would.

Ric Flair vs. Carlito for the Intercontinental Championship
I was wrong with my prediction on this one. I thought the WWE was going to keep the belt on Carlito via disqualification. I'm glad I was wrong because it was cool to see the Nature Boy flaunt some gold. Flair popping the Viagra pills backstage as he entered his limo with four fine ladies was hilarious! Props for the rematch the next night on Raw where Flair once again beat Carlito.

John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship
Why didn't I predict Bischoff getting involved in this match? Was it something so obvious that I overlooked it? Well, it made the end of the match even better and I can't wait to see how this feud plays out. We'll see Angle's next move in two weeks when Cena takes on Bischoff.

Overall, this PPV was pretty good. Worth $35? Maybe not, but it was still enjoyable. I give it a 7 out of 10.
