Pete's Links: WWE on the Web

Sometimes I'm amazed that I can spend so much time on the Internet when music, gaming, home/social life and job fill the majority of time. The Internet is serious business and I need to be apart of it. Here we go with another week's worth of fun! This week's theme is wrestling (that aren't the official WWE or TNA sites).

Eric Bischoff's Site
http://www.ericbischoff.com
The man that almost ran the WWE(F) into the ground has his own site and usually updates it every week or so. His views on the wrestling world and the media are truly fascinating. I suggest that you go back and read his blogs during the time the Chris Benoit tragedy was in the media. Bischoff's lashing of the media was brilliant and I couldn't have said it better myself. I wish he was still involved with WWE because I thought his creativity and character were great.

Ring Divas

No, this isn't WWE Divas, but a whole different organization. If you're old enough to remember (or heard of) GLOW (the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), this is similar, but without the cheese. These girls can fight and I think that Vince should actually start looking at some of these girls for WWE programming. At least the matches will be more than a minute long and won't involve some sort of stripping stipulation. I love women and their sexiness, but give the girls that can wrestle their dues (poor Victoria).

Wrestling Edge
http://www.wrestling-edge.com/
Imagine this site was about having to wrestle WWE superstar, Edge? That would be funny. Alas, it's not but we still get a site with listings that every other wrestling page on the net has. The reason I go to this site is because of their editorial content. I find that most of the writers have some excellent insight into the industry. Also, if you need to find awesome pics of the divas, here's another good resource.

Pro Wrestling Torch
http://www.pwtorch.com
Here's a warning: this site can be downright annoying. If you don't have a popup blocker, don't go here. If you want to pay for premium wrestling analysis and content, this is your place. I go here because I love reading the fan reaction posts after the TV shows and PPVs. Basically, that's why I go here. You may find more to love about this site than me, but I'm not paying to hear people analyze wrestling.

Prowrestling.com
www.prowrestling.com
This is my main source for wrestling news. I just found that throughout the years, this is the most up to date source for rumours and headlines. It's actually my IE and Firefox startup page. BE WARNED! DO NOT click any of the links. Pop ups and sometimes even viruses will bombard your computer. I have no idea why such a good site would have such a negative side.
