The sky is the limit, hence why October 31(and the festive days leading up to it) truly is the best day of the year.
It wasn't until the early 1900s that costumes and ‘trick-or-treating' became popular in North America and Halloween costumes didn't officially appear in stores affecting retail and fashion until around the 1930s. The modern masking and dress up holiday not only grows every year, but also reinvents the meaning behind the holiday.

Costumes traditionally depict fearful creatures of the night such as ghosts, skeletons, witches and vampires. Popular this year undoubtedly will be bald Britney, jailbird Paris and yet again Brangelina and their many children. Favourite band or music group ensembles will also be a popular one this year and as well as anything ‘Will Ferrell' since he's always a crowd pleaser. It is fun to find a partner in crime when choosing your costume to complete the look. Mario and Luigi, Sonny and Cher, Batman and Robin, are all great choices for a duo hit costume.
