There's an opening in the SAC
If you are in the Building Technology Division and want to get involved there is no better time than right now.
Former Building Technology Representative Tom Copping, who students elected to the Student Advisory Council (SAC) in October, can no longer fulfill his duties within the Council, which means there is now an opening.
Part of the Student Union, members of SAC are elected to represent each division of the college and each member is responsible to voice concerns of his or her constituents at the bi-weekly meetings.
Members of SAC also make decisions and vote on all motions brought forward by the Student Union. These decisions affect all students who attend the college now and years to come.
If you are interested in running please email Travis Mazereeuw at fsupres@fanshawec.ca or stop into to the Student Union Office SC2001 and either Laya or Travis will give you a nomination form. All applicants will be reviewed at the first SAC meeting of 2008.
