Around the Ring: Hardy worth the toke? WM spot vanishes in puff of smoke

WHAT A STUPID, STUPID IDIOT!!!!!! I can't believe how F'N STUPID Jeff Hardy is. I REALLY wish I can use more colourful language here - that's how pissed off I am as a fan. He had one of the best pushes in the company in recent years (although it didn't immediately cumulate into a World Championship) and he still decided to abuse drugs and got his ass suspended!! No Money in the Bank match for him now! We'll see him in 60 days. I can't believe he'll now miss Wrestlemania and the payoff that comes with it.

To play devil's advocate, maybe there's something more to this than we know. Perhaps Hardy was frustrated with the amount of work and damage that he's done to his body to reach the top only to have John Cena and HHH take his spot in the main event at WM! Maybe Hardy was told that he wasn't winning the Money in the Bank match and got pissed off, smoked some dope and purposely got caught. Will Hardy now come back after his 60 days or will he asked to be let go once again? Only time will tell. If WWE can give Orton a bunch of chances, I'm sure they'll do it with Hardy but the company's wellness policy states that if he gets caught one more time, he's officially history. Stupid, stupid Hardy.

Last week's TNA PPV wasn't too bad. Two of the best matches were the women's title match (these ladies CAN wrestle AND entertain) and the Petey Williams vs. Black Machismo Jay Lethal match. The “Fish Market Brawl” was just plain stupid (hitting each other with huge fish? Please...) and the Elevation X match was just underwhelming. I can't believe Booker T lost to Robert Roode just so Sharmel could make the “save” and the main event, while wrestled well, was nothing to remember. Thank goodness Wrestlemania is around the corner.

Speaking of Wrestlemania, is anyone getting sick of Floyd Mayweather yet? I hope that bastard gets booed out of the building. Every time that guy cuts a promo, he buries himself even more and he makes me wish I was a boxer so I could punch him right in the face. Thank goodness the crowd is turning on him - just like on the last Raw. Big Show throwing him into his posse was the best part of the whole episode!

For a three hour/WM rematch edition of Raw, things sure were boring. This is probably the least hyped WM in recent years. Is it because people know what all the outcomes are going to be? What are your thoughts?

On the Smackdown side last week, I actually sat through most of the program (because I was actually too mentally drained to do anything else) and although I say it every so often, I'll restate it: WHY CAN'T THE WWE WRITERS TURN SMACKDOWN INTO AN ENTERTAINING SHOW? I mean, you have the talent: Batista, Taker, Edge, Jimmy Wang Yang, MVP and a couple more, but the storylines are just boring! Three weeks away from WM and the show did NOTHING to hype up the PPV or ANY matches appearing on the card! We have an Intercontinental and U.S. Championship not being defended at the biggest show of the year? Someone please explain this to me! All I have to say is thank goodness I'm not spending the $55 on WM this year - but I still get to see it.
