VP here to get you justice, hates new Facebook

There are two things I hate in this world and one of them is new Facebook. Seriously, I want them to put it back to the way it was. The way they have it set up now makes less sense to me and you can't even tell that I have added the pieces of flair application.

The remainder of this article, however, has nothing to do with Facebook what so ever, I just wanted to throw that out there.

What this article is actually about is Community Legal Services. Community Legal Services (CLS) is made up of law students at Western supervised by a professional lawyer. Their fees are subsidized by Fanshawe's Student Union, so if you run into any legal trouble CLS can help you for free as long as you are a full time Fanshawe Student. We all make mistakes and the last thing you want to do is screw up your life before you've had the chance to start it.

Now just because we have access to free legal services does not mean we can go around breaking the law and acting like douche bags. What Community Legal Services can help you with is Landlord and Tenant Law, Charter of Rights challenges, Small Claims Court representation, Public Legal Education, Student Appeals and Affidavits and notary services. They can help you with Criminal Law if you have committed a summary offense (also called petty crime).

If you need to get in contact with Community Legal Services you can contact them by phone at (519) 661-3352. They've recently set up shop in the student union office if you have an appointment with them.

If you do have a problem it is important that you get it taken care of right away. The longer you wait the less that can be done.

It is part of my job as VP External to be the student contact person to Community Legal Services, so if you have any other questions about CLS or you want to complain about the new Facebook please do not hesitate to contact me.
