A year and a half in the making can mean big things.

The prestigious Club Rouge finally opened its doors to Londoners on Friday, January 8.

This brand new, upscale club is just what Londoners have been waiting for when it comes to the city's bar scene.

The 10,000-square-foot dance club caters to all personality types at an affordable price.

“The club was designed specifically with ladies in mind,” said Michael Bate, general manager at Club Rouge. “For young ladies to come in and enjoy themselves.”

The look of the club will leave bar-goers in awe as they walk through an enchanting hallway filled with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, sparkling chandeliers and large colourful lanterns — inspired by the bar's owner, John Scott Pearse.

Pearse's inspirations for the look and feel of the club come from the many years he has spent traveling the world.

Bate described Pearse as paying “careful attention to detail” when it came to the sophisticated look and feel of the club, adding, “Pearse has created a space where people are comfortable in.”

The club features three large bars, comfortable seating and VIP areas.

Located at 144 Charing Cross Road, the location of Club Rouge should also alleviate the stress Richmond Row residents have experienced when a new club has opened in that area.
