Here's what happened in La-La land this week:

The Grammys. There's plenty to talk about here; however, I would like to mention that Pink is awesome. Not only does she have a great voice and songwriting skills, the woman also puts on a great performance. This is in comparison to the cheesy back-up dancers dressed as robots in a grade school talent show. Yes, I ripped on The Black-Eyed Peas. It's a great song, but c'mon, even you must have felt a little embarrassed rocking out to it while seeing those “last” minute” Halloween costumes.

The “gossip” is true. Kristen Bell, the narrator of “Gossip Girl” and star of the new movie When in Rome is getting married. Her fiancé, Dax Sheppard has been on TV shows Punk'd and My Name is Earl. Both stars are originally Michiganders and Kristen stated to People magazine that the secret to their relationship is “healthy communication…and a good snuggle party can fix anything.”

Understandably, Rihanna has a lot of personal anger to expel after Chris Brown, but unfortunately, it hasn't helped her record sales. To date, her new CD Rated-R has sold 571,733 copies. On a positive note, Brown has only sold 258,184 copies of Graffiti. Many are blaming him for ruining both their careers, but I think she will bounce back. Brown on the other hand; go stand in the corner with Ike, you're close to being finished.

While most of you are dreading the end of addictive TV show Lost, Matthew Fox can't wait for it to be over. Contemplating giving up his acting career for good, Fox expressed in Details magazine his need to go back to his Oregon roots. “I really miss that kind of wide-open space, and there's a big part of me that wants the kids to live in that mountain air.” It's important to have a balanced life, but few actors can walk away from Hollywood completely. I bet he'll be back.

In an effort to “humanize the debate” of abortion, a new faux-reality docudrama Bump has hit the web. The show features three different couples in three different pregnancy predicaments. From their stories, viewers can leave comments as to whether the couple should abort or not. The first episode aired February 1, and will appear each week Mondays and Thursdays on the website BumptheShow.com. This experiment might have two benefits. One, opening the discussion of a very debated topic and two, scaring people into using protection. Bonus.
