Welcome to Fanshawe! You've just moved in, unpacked, and settled into your new schedule with all your new supplies. Or perhaps you're a long-term resident, starting your second or third year, beginning to catch up with friends now that school is back in session. Whatever the case, it's an exciting time and all that extra energy is going to make you want to get out and live it up before the cold weather comes rolling in.

In this issue of Interrobang, you'll find a pretty full guide to a lot of the coolest bars, restaurants, shops, and attractions that London has to offer. You have loads of time to check out each of those places, as they're open year-round and aren't terribly far from campus.

If you want to get out and experience some of the last of a London summer, read on below for some of the very best remaining seasonal attractions here in the city. You don't have much time left to enjoy them, so make your plans and get out before you miss out.

Western Fair
Where: Western Fairgrounds, Florence St. between Rectory and Egerton (5 km)
When: September 10—19
Celebrating its 135th year, the Western Fair is London's annual exhibition of fun and games just off of the downtown core. It features live entertainment, exhibits and vendor shopping, midway rides and more for kids and adults alike.

Though passes for rides and games cost a bit more, admission is only $8 if you get your tickets before September 10. Check the website (westernfair.com) for a complete schedule and to see all of the shows and events you get free with admission.

LOLA Festival 2010
Where: Various locations, down town London (6.5 km)
When: September 16—19
The London Ontario Live Arts Festival is an annual event, taking place in the third week of September in downtown London. The festival began in 2006 and has grown into a huge event that features and celebrates live art from both renowned and emerging artists, both musical and visual.

Double Decker Sightseeing Bus Tours
Where: Departing from the intersection of Dundas and Wellington (6.5 km)
When: Ends September 6
It's not every day you get a chance to tour around in a doubledecker bus, and to kick back and let someone else show you around the places of note throughout the city. Tours begin at 10:00 a.m. and run roughly two hours, call tollfree at 1-800-265-2602 for more information.

East Park
Where: 1275 Hamilton Rd. (7 km)
When: Summer hours end September 12
East Park is a recreational tour de force, featuring indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. Though many features are open year-round — like rock climbing, bumper cars, a full arcade and more — there are a handful of outdoor summer activities that are closing or moving to limited fall hours after September 12.

Check out their huge outdoor water park, mini golf, go karts, batting cages and more before it's too late. Their website (eastparkgolf.com) has hours and pricing, especially as some features offer student admission and student group day passes.
