It's your city. Vote!

Voting in this year's municipal election is easy. So easy, there should be no reason for any eligible voter not to exercise their democratic right to cast a ballot. Now you can vote during the week before election day at advance polls, conveniently located throughout the city.

The advance poll at Fanshawe takes place October 14 in the Student Centre near Oasis and is open to any eligible voter.

Did you know? As a student, the Municipal Elections Act makes a special exception which allows you to vote in both your home municipality and the municipality where you're attending school.

If you're a student from elsewhere studying in London, you can vote here!

This is your opportunity to vote for London's next mayor, city council and school board representatives. You may not realize it, but city government directly affects your life every day.

All that's required is that you bring ID showing your address, your name and your signature. If you received a Voter Notification Card in the mail, bring that too. If no card was received in the mail; you can still vote - you just have to swear a declaration at the polling station.

Advance polls around the city:

City Hall — October 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Malls (Argyle, Cherryhill, Masonville, Northland, Sherwood Forest, White Oaks, Westmount) - October 14 and 16 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

City-wide polling stations will be open on October 25, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voters who wish to vote at their designated polling station which can be found on the city website at www.london.ca.
