Frontiers of Electronic Music

If you're interested in an eclectic approach to breaks, you may have already heard Freestylers. Mostly using breaks in their sets and productions: Freestylers are always finding creative ways to weave in everything from hip hop and rock to trance, house or drum n' bass. Freestylers consist of Aston Harvey and Matt Cantor. Both members of the duo are initally from London, England where they slowly began to build steam throughout the 90s. By the time they released Pressure Point in 2002 they were known internationally and sold over 150,000 copies of their album in the U.S. alone. They are consistently releasing singles for DJs to mix, and have also remixed artists off of Maverick such as Soul Hooligan and Azzido Da Bass. You can purchase their 12 inch singles on Chemicalbeats.co.uk or Playderecord.com. Freestylers will also continue to tear it up in the clubs world wide for many years to come. So if you havn't checked them out yet, I recommend it.
