1. What's a service or event the FSU does that no one knows about?
"Some students may know, some may not, but the FSU has events for students with children. They are mainly for holidays such as Halloween parties, Christmas parties and Easter events. I am looking to do more for students with children because they, too, are a part of our Fanshawe family, and they may one day be a Fanshawe student and part of the FSU."

2. What's your perfect day like?
"Just after being in bake lab, taking my finished product home to share with my beautiful family. My mom is terminally ill, so the more time I can spend with her the better. Myself, I am a mom and my kids are the most important people in my life, without them I wouldn't be who I am today."

3. What's been your best memory at Fanshawe so far?
"All the amazing friends, co-workers, professors and chefs I have met. I have graduated A.C.E with two prestigious awards and chef's training, I have also been one of the First Nations Student Association co-chairs for two years and this is my first year as SAC division rep for tourism and hospitality, so these years I have spent at Fanshawe are the best memory I have."

4. What's your favorite simple recipe?
"TACOS!! Whether it is Indian tacos or just regular tacos, I love tacos."

5. What movie most resembles your life?
"I love this movie I could watch it 12 times in a row — Forrest Gump. Although I am a smart girl and have not been at significant world and political events like Forrest, I have had some major hardships and hurdles throughout my life. Like Jenny, I had a troubled childhood and teen years, but I managed to do a 180 and turn my life around to become an upstanding student, mother and young woman. The love of my life had eluded me for years, and I also ended up with the wrong person until I opened my eyes and realized, like Jenny, my best friend is the love of my life. He is my rock and my strength, and for that I thank him."
