Family Guy still inappropriately hilarious

There are few things in life that are funnier than Family Guy: friends accidentally getting hit in the groin by flying objects, drunk people yelling at statues and people eating food until they throw up. That's all I can think of. That's why I went out and FINALLY bought Vol. 3 of Family Guy. I needed to fill a missing void in my life.

This marks the first season for Family Guy after getting cancelled and then brought back by serious demand from the fans and the DVD sales of the first three seasons. Vol. 3 gives us 13 episodes from the first half of the fourth season.

Just some of the episodes included in Vol. 3 are; “Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Jr. High”, “Petarded”, “Brian The Bachelor”, and “Jungle Love”. The extras include commentary, a revival of a Family Guy feature and deleted scenes.

People can argue that this season of Family Guy is the best yet. I have to agree that this season does push the boundaries on what can be said or done on prime time TV, but does shocking necessarily mean funny? That's up for debate. Has Family Guy offended you? Write in to the Interrobang (or to me) and state your thoughts on this controversial (yet hilarious) show.

The only thing that really bugs me about this collection is the price. Even though I bought the set, it's really hard to justify spending $35 on 13 episodes where the other sets had more for the same price. I know that Fox wants people to get their Family Guy fix, especially because it's so popular, but they still could have waited until the season was finished airing to release all of Season 4 as Vol. 3.

I enjoyed the bonus content and the nice clear picture that the DVD set provides. Actually, the surround sound on this set seems to be the best yet for the show. Get your fix and get Family Guy!
