1. Why are you here?
As the Environmental Program Coordinator, I'm here to promote the various waste diversion programs that are available to the campus body. Our annual waste audits show that continuous environmental education is necessary to increase our diversion rate.

2. What was your life-changing moment?
In my first year of Planetary Science I realized how finite, fragile and unique the Earth is and switched programs to Environmental Science so that I could devote my life to protecting it.

3. What music are you currently listening to?
Tiësto and Deadmau5.

4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
"This too shall pass." - The wisdom of my mother.

5. Who is your role model?
Of course my determined, strong, understanding, wise mother. And my fellow Steering Committee members for the Transition London Ontario organization.

6. Where in the world have you travelled?
New York, Chicago, Orlando Florida and Niagara Falls.

7. What was your first job?
Corn detasseling on a farm. Long, hot, sweaty, buggy days.

8. What would your last meal be?
My last meal would be anything from the VegOut restaurant on Richmond St. The best vegan food in town. It's kind of my sanctuary. I can eat everything on the menu!
9. What makes you uneasy?
Knowing that life as we know it is unsustainable and we need to make our communities more resilient to a peak oil scenario.

10. What is your passion?
My passion is communicating the importance of individual action. I love to see someone's face light up when they realize that they can make a difference.
