From the director of District 9 comes a new sci-fi thriller that takes you to the year 2159. Those on Earth are desperate to escape the planet and are in need of the medical care available on Elysium, but those on the floating city are enforcing anti-immigration laws. Mac Coburn (Matt Damon) steps in to try to bring equality and peace to what is now a very divided mankind.
