Matt Mogk might just have the coolest job title ever. Check him out when he comes to Fanshawe’s Forwell Hall for a free presentation on zombie survival on October 29.

Does your need for all zombie-related information get as bad as a zombie's hunger for... well, you know? Then you qualify for the Zombie Research Society!

And if you're that big a zombie fan, you're in luck. The head of the Zombie Research Society, Matt Mogk, will be coming to Fanshawe on October 29 to share some tips on zombie survival.

It would seem the threat of a zombie invasion has become ostentatious enough to warrant a research group, and it's here to stay. The Zombie Research Society has everything for the modern zombie enthusiast; the latest news on the next big zombie TV show (Zombie Culture) and even a word from the master of zombies himself, George A. Romero, just how close we as a society are to starting a real apocalypse (Zombie Science), and, of course, what your best weapons would be for when the clock strikes BRAAAAAAAIIINS (Zombie Survival).

Take a listen to the Dead Men Walking podcast to stay pop-culturally on top of it all (hopefully on top of a car when you're on your last stand, surrounded by the flesh-eating horde).

Being an esteemed society of top researchers, there are, of course, resources to conduct research of your own. Check out their Netflix list of recommended zombie flicks, good, bad, but all entertaining nonetheless!

Discuss the looming threat of the zombie apocalypse and which brand of tinned peaches tastes best to stockpile (and maybe chat about the latest episode of The Walking Dead) at the ZRS forum! It won't rot your mind, that's for certain!

Think you're up to the mark as a zombie scientist? Perhaps you could contribute some written academia on the latest and greatest in zombie media? Or maybe you just want the badass badge that comes with being a lifetime member of the Zombie Research Society. Whatever your reason, don't miss Matt Mogk when he comes to Fanshawe for a free presentation in Forwell Hall on October 29. The show starts at 8 p.m.
