Study suggests American men love soccer

Long dismissed in America as a sport for prancing Europeans and South Americans, an Epsos-Reid poll suggests that American's have taken to the game of soccer.

The revealing study shows the game is making inroads with a surprising number of mid-western Americans. One respondent equated watching the game to ranching, and hopes that this year's World Cup will “help springboard the game into the mainstream, much like Brokeback Mountain did for ranching cowboys.”
