Stars on Ice made a stop at London's Budweiser Gardens on May 7 with a number of Olympic, World and Canadian medalists.

Stars on Ice made its way to Budweiser Gardens with a number of talented skaters on May 7.

The skating tour, which has various groups travelling across Canada, the United States and Japan feature a number of current and retired competitive skaters wowing crowds of all ages with their impressive and entertaining choreographed routines.

Most of the numbers performed are made specifically for the show, while others are routines skaters may have done in competition.

The latest Canadian tour, in partnership with Investors Group and presented by Lindt, brought many familiar faces to London including world champion pairs skaters Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford, Canadian silver medalists Lubov Iliushechkina and Dylan Moscovitch and Olympic men's medalists Patrick Chan and Jeffrey Buttle.

The team was stronger with having not one, but two women world medalists including Kaetlyn Osmond and Gabrielle Daleman.

Of course the show wouldn't be complete without crowd favourite, Stars on Ice veteran and world champion Kurt Browning.

Two-time Olympic silver medalist and another Canadian figure skating icon, Elvis Stojko was set to perform for the London crowd, but due to a head injury the previous show in Hamilton, had to cancel his appearance for the day.

It was evident many Stojko fans were in attendance, as they vocalized their disappointment of not seeing him skate live.

Though guests were not able to see one Canadian figure skating hero, the crowd was delighted to have Olympic Gold medalists and hometown heroes Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir in the house, as they skated to a Prince medley and did not disappoint. This specific routine was just one of their performances from this past successful winning year.

Virtue and Moir also made a special appearance during the Toronto and Hamilton stops.

The music throughout the entire show was catchy, with tunes from various artists all across the board including Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, Maroon 5, James Brown and The Four Seasons to name a few.

With an impressive afternoon that truly demonstrated the hard work of these talented skaters, it's not hard to see why the athletes enjoy what they do and put on a great show venue after venue. Click on the thumbnails below to view a larger version of each image.
