They fought well in their match against the Stevenson Mustangs and kept it close within the match but in the end, they lost 3-2.

Fanshawe is feeling hot here at the start of some league matches. In some Rocket League action, the FUEL team faced Kean RL White and won 4-1. The FUEL League of Legends (RL) team is coming off of a hot win as well going 2-1 in a best out of three match-up. The FUEL RL Academy played strong but unfortunately was not able to snag the win against UNCG Gold and lost 4-1. The SSBU FUEL team will be playing in the NECC for the first time this semester. Due to local Super Smash Bros. tournaments at Fanshawe on Monday and Thursdays, NECC was their only viable option. Azel is the manager for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate FUEL team and has mentioned that they have had some rough patches in past semesters but they are looking on bringing the heat this semester.

“We have some crazy players this term and some players are getting better, I’m looking forward to how they do this year,” Azel said. The team just faced off against OWU Crimson and won 2-0 in a best of three match-up and are hoping to keep their momentum going.

The Call of Duty FUEL team had an interesting start for their winter semester in the qualifiers. They faced off against some strong teams but still proved that they are here to play. Up against York U, FUEL kept a good momentum but lost 3-1 in a best out of five match-up. The team was able to clutch up with great chemistry coming all around against Marshall UECA.
